Model 1b, Maximum Ionic Conductances

Maximum conductance values for model #1b were similar in most respects to model #1a (figure 3), with most changes being due to the increased need for excitability and inactivating depolarizing current to compensate for the lack of slow, NMDA mediated input depolarizations (figure 7 vs. figure 13). For instance, maximum conductances for I-NaP and I-NaR increased by 62% and 10% with respect to model #1a (figure 3b) in order to maintain granular cell bursting within the post-EOCD time window following complete decay of depolarizing synaptic conductances.
